SOME NIGHTMARES NEVER END. For Janie and Cabel, real life is getting tougher than the dreams. They're just trying to carve out a little (secret) time together, but no such luck. Disturbing things are happening at Fieldridge High, yet nobody's talking. When Janie taps into a classmate's violent nightmares, the case finally breaks open -- but nothing goes as planned. Not even close. Janie's in way over her head, and Cabe's shocking behavior has grave consequences for them both. Worse yet, Janie learns the truth about herself and her ability -- and it's bleak. Seriously, brutally bleak. Not only is her fate as a dream catcher sealed, but what's to come is way darker than she'd feared....

Review

If I said I loved “Wake” I don’t know how to express how much I liked this one.

In the first book in the series we had: love, a bit of mystery and weird dreams.
In the second one we have: A lot of love, a lot of mystery, more and weirder dreams, strange classmates and odd teachers. All perfectly mixed up.

In “Fade” Janie starts to discover the story behind her powers as well as the good and bad things that they hide, and has to learn how to control them while she tries to discover what is happening at her school.

The mystery factor had my on edge until all was finally uncovered. Although I had my suspicions and at some point I could predict what was going to happen (or so I thought) when the time of the truth arrived I was amazed of what was happening.

Overall: A perfect sequel for “Wake”. I can’t wait to read “Gone”, February seems very faraway.
